VIDEO: Gaby Dunn’s Blissfully Dark Comedy Pilot About a Queer Woman and Her Alcoholic Dad

This weekend, digital production studio New Form debuted three new pilots at the 2017 Austin Film Festival, including Gaby Dunn’s Love Me Do, a dark comedy about a queer woman whose alcoholic father moves in with her after getting out of rehab. There’s nothing we love more around here than biting humor about tragic things (seriously there isn’t), so we’re already in love with this and hoping for more. You’ll also recognize Julie Lake (Angie from Orange is the New Black) and our very own Brittani Nichols playing a cop.
